Welcome!
This week I want to talk about manifestation, and my favourite variation of that which is ‘quantum jumping’. It all starts out sounding relatively normal, if you think hard enough about the things that you want and believe that you will get them, then you are putting your energy into the right place to make that happen. I have absolutely no problem with that.
But quantum jumping/leaping/shifting takes it a step further. It’s no longer some practical but pleasingly wishy washy advice and instead it tips into actual science fiction. Because quantum jumping believes that the timeline where you are the best version of yourself exists out there among the limitless timelines that run parallel to our own and all you need to do is simply jump or shift into that timeline using the power of manifestation.
It’s real scrunch up your fists, close your eyes and believe kind of stuff. Great.
So for fun I’ve been working on a TV script about quantum jumping. Asking the questions that never seem to be made apparent from this practice. Like “If i’m in my highest timeline does that mean everyone I know is also in a higher timeline?” Because what is the point in me doing well unless everyone is jealous of what I have.
“If i’m not sure about my partner who seems just pretty good, can I try out someone else and come back to them?” Maybe, but it isn’t time travel, so they are going to know you left them as will everyone else around you. Plus, they’ve probably found someone better and more sure of them in the mean time.
“How do you beat imposter syndrome if you are always jumping the queue into the life you want?” Are you just meant to walk around pretending to know the answer to everything?
Most importantly of all - “what does a shift in timelines feel like?”. At the moment I imagine a small shake of the ground. It’s totally possible that a little shake could happen while I was squeezing my eyes closed tightly and dreaming about the life I want. A nice bit of confirmation between me and the universe.
I don’t know, if you could think your way into the life of your dreams - why wouldn’t you do it? Just because Schrodinger said about Quantum Theory ““I don't like it, and I'm sorry I ever had anything to do with it.”
